Среди высохших рек и выжженных лесов раскинулось Королевство, где не поют птицы, не доются коровы, а люди живут в постоянном страхе и нищете. А все потому, что 18 лет назад в результате дворцового переворота к власти пришли хитрые и жадные Министры. Неповиновение новым законам жестоко карается, и никто не осмеливается перечить Королевской охране. Никто, кроме благородного разбойника Трубин Гуда, который грабит Министров и раздаёт награбленное бедным. А помогают ему в этом его верные друзья: кот Зигмунд, пес Баскервиль, петух Петруччо и ослица Гретхен. В то время как жители Королевства слагают о нём легенды, а Министры готовы отдать за его голову любую награду, сам Трубин Гуд мечтает лишь о том, чтобы вернуть Королевство к прежнему процветанию.

Among the dried-up rivers and scorched forests lies the Kingdom, where birds do not sing, cows do not milk, and people live in constant fear and misery. And all because of cunning and greedy Ministers that came to power 18 years ago, as a result of a palace coup. Disobedience to new laws is severely punished, and no one dares to cross the Royal Guard. No one except the noble robber Trubin Hood, who robs the Ministers and distributes the loot to the poor. And his faithful friends help him in this: the cat Zigmund, the dog Baskerville, the rooster Petrucho and the donkey Gretchen. While the inhabitants of the Kingdom make legends about him, and the Ministers are ready to give any reward for his head, Trubin Hood himself dreams only of returning the Kingdom to former prosperity.
